Refund Policy
This Refund Policy follows the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court is the Seoul Eastern District Court. In addition, if there are various translations, the Korean translation shall take precedence.
Article 1 (Purpose)
This Policy establishes the standards for payment of Paid Services, subscription (recurring payment), plan changes, withdrawal of subscription, cancellation, and refunds related to the Sigmoid service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Sigmoid (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
Article 2 (Definition of Terms)
The definitions of terms used in this Policy are as follows:
1. "Subscription (Recurring Payment)" refers to a product where usage fees are automatically charged at regular intervals (monthly or annually) and service access is provided for the corresponding period.
2. "Monthly Subscription" refers to a subscription product where usage fees are automatically charged every month.
3. "Annual Subscription" refers to a subscription product where usage fees are automatically charged on a yearly basis.
4. "Seat" refers to a single team member's access right to use the Service.
5. "Paid Service" refers to various digital content and services provided by the Company for a fee.

Article 3 (Subscription Products)
1. The types of subscription products (plans), usage fees, and provided features are as specified on the payment screen.
2. Subscriptions are automatically renewed (recurring payment) by default, and payments are made at each billing cycle until the Member cancels (stops renewal).
3. Annual subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly subscriptions.
4. The free plan (Starter) does not involve any payment and is therefore not subject to the refund provisions of this Policy.
5. The Enterprise plan is governed by a separate contract, and refund conditions shall follow the terms specified in the applicable contract.

Article 4 (Plan Changes)
1. (Upgrade) When upgrading to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately, and the price difference for the remaining period of the current billing cycle is prorated and charged additionally.
2. (Downgrade) When downgrading to a lower plan, the change takes effect after the end of the current billing cycle. No refund of the price difference for the already paid amount will be provided.
3. (Seat Addition) When adding seats, the change takes effect immediately, and the additional seat fee for the remaining period of the current billing cycle is prorated and charged.
4. (Seat Removal) When removing seats, the change takes effect from the next billing date.

Article 5 (Cancellation and Withdrawal)
1. Members may request subscription cancellation (stop automatic renewal) at any time through the settings menu within the Service or by contacting customer support.
2. (Monthly Subscription Cancellation) Cancellation takes effect from the next billing date, and the service access for the already paid subscription period is maintained until the end of that period. However, if the request is made within 7 days from the payment date, immediate cancellation with a full refund is available in accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 4.
3. (Annual Subscription Cancellation) If the request is made within 7 days from the payment date, immediate cancellation with a full refund is available in accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 4. After 7 days, cancellation requests are subject to review by the operations team and will be processed within 3 business days. The refund amount is calculated in accordance with Article 6.
4. (Withdrawal of Subscription) In accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., all paid subscriptions (monthly and annual) are eligible for a full refund and immediate cancellation within 7 days from the payment date (or renewal date). Such requests may be submitted through the settings menu within the Service or by contacting customer support (contact@sigmoid.us).

1. (Monthly Subscription) For monthly subscriptions, a full refund is available within 7 days from the payment date. After 7 days, cancellation takes effect at the next billing date and no refund is provided.
2. (Annual Subscription) A full refund is available within 7 days from the payment date. After 7 days, the refund amount for annual subscriptions is calculated as follows:
a. Discount Amount = (Monthly Fee × 12) - Annual Fee
b. Penalty = Discount Amount × 50%
c. Unused Amount = (Annual Fee ÷ Total Subscription Days (minimum 365 days)) × Remaining Days
d. Refund Amount = max(0, Unused Amount - Penalty)
In other words, 50% of the annual discount benefit is deducted as a penalty, and the amount corresponding to the unused period is refunded.
3. (Company's Fault) If the Service is not properly provided due to reasons attributable to the Company, the Company shall refund the full usage fee for the applicable month.
4. (Member's Change of Mind) In principle, the Member shall bear all incidental costs, such as payment processing fees, incurred in case of refunds due to a simple change of mind.
5. The Company shall not claim penalties or damages on the grounds of withdrawal of subscription.

Article 8 (Erroneous and Duplicate Payments)
1. If a duplicate or erroneous payment is confirmed, the Company shall cancel the payment or process a full refund after verification.

Article 9 (Policy Changes)
1. The Company may change fees, plan configurations, refund standards, and other terms as necessary for service operations.
2. Changes that are unfavorable or significant to Members shall be communicated in advance through reasonable means such as in-service announcements.

This Policy shall take effect from April 14, 2026.
